Look, not everyone is cut out to work in finance. Just because you believe it and think that they are, does not mean it is true. The goal of the latest CRT and DEI movement is to shift from the goal of "equal opportunity" to "equal outcomes." This is a very problematic for people who want to put in the work and take advantage of opportunities - regardless of their race. Focusing on equal OUTCOMES - "you get a job, and You get a job - and YOU get a JOB!" - ignores responding to training needs so that the person promoted to the position can actually perform the duties. So, yeah, hiring someone because of their race is always a bad idea.

For some reason my work ethic has dropped dramatically the past year. I attribute this to lack of representation and the constant garbage I see on Teamworks.
If you’re making these claims, then you’re part of the mediocrity that has skated by for generations. Pretty sure you thought you’re special, but you’re not. If you’re GENUINELY an expert, then you don’t mind any competition. True experts are confident.
