You bet I do. Verizon still has a lot of ringers on the payroll. We have got to eliminate them, there is no way Verizon can succeed with these ringers. Verizon leadership team needs to turn up the heat and make it very uncomfortable for the ringers, then they will leave voluntarily.

well verizon is always a follower and never a leader so looking at what tmobile did it will be pretty brutal for big red.

There’s always going to be RIFs, every year since 2000. 15-20% across the board is not going to happen though. It comes in waves to different departments. For IT though more and more outsourcing is a reality.
