We received an email today notifying everyone that John Prince (Optum President and COO) who has been at the company a long time is resigning and going into the private sector. Scrolling down to the bottom of the email it looks like this guy who has been at GSK (Andrew Witty's former job) is coming into Optum to be a EVP. He worked at GSK in global vaccines. Coincidence that Andrew Witty recently took a leave of absence to help with the vaccines during covid?

I know for a fact that John Prince resigned based on his own decision and is excited for his next challenge. John is truly a brilliant man and will do amazing things in his next role. A total class act!
I don't think this is in fact true. Nothing has been communicated to anyone.
Anyone else taking this as a sign to bail? I remember when JP was a SVP in my old area. He’s come up so far to just leave now….
