Major cuts of the design group (by far the largest I’ve heard at once since I’ve worked at TR). We had no where near enough design group ppl 2-3 years ago, but now a bunch need to go? That sounds like a leadership problem, not an employee problem.

The numbers are low enough to not cause too much attention I suppose. We've been repeatedly told they will not be sharing a list.

how many people are getting RIF'd across the org/what BUs/ roles- can't seem to find any digital trail online in tech journals/LI - was part of the severance package to agree not to disparage TR in any online/social forums and/or mention the RIF?

I heard third hand that 20% of the design org is impacted, as well as PL and TAP product.

I suspect Charlie the Tuna is safe in design.

They still have to pay laid off people bonuses earned for 2022, even if the employee’s last day is before the payout date. The fry heads can make the % super low so it is less, but they should still get the bonus.

Have to wait and see. OP's comment is too cryptic to take any value from.

Layoffs are happening everywhere, even McDonald's...any specific BU getting it worse?

Layoffs coming in the creative side in U.S.

Now they will not have to pay all of those year end bonuses.

What part of the org are you in?

Lesson learned is to do your homework before you come to TR. They pulled a good one, no layoffs in our area over the holiday so we are lulled into a false state of security.
