Searched for intel layoffs posts in linkedin and saw a huge number of posts ranging from yesterday till previous week. No one's spared i guess irrespective of their domain

The way it worked this time is instead of the execs saying “we’re cutting x amount of jobs”, they went to each division and said “this is your budget, so what you need to to make it happen.” The budget numbers trickled down, and managers all the way down the line choose what happens to their teams. There are all kinds of things happening outside of layoffs to make those budgets work, but it’s not looking pretty. The earnings call next week will help us know what’s next.
How about D1?
How is the hardware team? That is custom cpu and system on chip teams? Not sure which official org they are in.
