Once you see TD start laying off vs loa's (TD had no layoffs this round), worry. The cr-p has seriously hit the fan then.

I'd say if you have the means/skill move while you can unless you been there for a while and would welcome a severance. I've never seen anything this weird or drawn out. MSFT, Facebook, Amazon. They go the rip the bandaid off approach. Intel on the other hand goes, "Just make sure to check your email for a 1:1 from your manager every morning". I think the CHIPS act is complicating things and Intel is trying to bleed people off slowly to avoid a big headline drawing questions.
I guess the longer it's drawn out, they might save money from attrition not having to pay severance.
The end of redeployment for this round is definitely March 31, 2023. If you haven't been notified by January 27, you've survived this round.
It is done for this year. Next round early next year.

This is round 1 and won't get Intel anywhere near the $10B in savings per year by 2025 that PG promised during the Q3 earnings call. Actually, it will probably only achieve about half of the $3B promised by the end of 2023. You will be going through this on and off for at least the next 2 years assuming you make it to the end state.
I suspect that they want all of the redeployed people out by the end of Q1 so simple math, 3/31/2023 - 60 days is 1/30/2023. I would expect to see people getting notified through Friday 1/27 but this isn't official by any means. Good luck!
