Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Any upcoming layoffs in Ford for 2023

As the year started with mass layoff by Giants. Wondering if Ford is planning the same?

PEPs are coming, probably in March. Targets will be over 50, pension eligible ( Ford paid Boston Consulting to identify workers of a certain age and the pension pay to eliminate with the Aug '22 SIRP ) and anyone one your manager or director wants removed. Remember, nepotism is the norm at Ford - if you challenged your manager, more than likely you will be PEPd and eliminated.
" Special Assignments " are also be given to alot of senior directors - ll4/3/2s, JF is cleaning house and eliminating any threats to his position or anyone who cant not offer value.
Next is in big trouble and DFord ( both have way too much headcount, Next continue to loose money and JF sees no use for DFord ( he hated the org when Hackett supported it and can't wait to eliminate it ). Pro is also getting a reorg. from the way people are moving.

There are layoffs at all the big technology companies, Microsoft announced 10,000 and Google 12,000 and Salesforce 7,800 about 10%. Since we identify as a technology company, we need to eliminate at least the rest of the 8,000 Farley announced almost a year ago. We need to get rid of at least half of the salary management to be competitive, profitable and able to improve quality.
