aka the annual cull. did someone not do the math or was this a calculated move to just sc--w with peoples lives. so far im not impressed with this leadership. periodt.

They harass their employees with mindless reviews, check-ins, development plans, seminars, etc. all the while making it more more difficult to do your job. I think part of it is they want to harass you to the point where you leave on your own.
Unfortunately I think Hasker and Roth are 5 years not 4. So two more to go.
I'd like to change my employee satisfaction score please.
Next thing they will require is for us to lip sync for your life!
sorry, I appreciate the "me-too" game mentioned, but I was broached with this 'merge', RIF to happen over 6-9 months ago. It's not as knee-jerk as you may think. And you don't think that the 'Change' program and McKinsey didn't validate/green light their acceleration assumptions any of these layoffs?
Remember this is year 3 of four years for Hasker and Roth. They'll fill their boots before exiting
TR execs and mgmt strategy:
- layoff employees in US and Europe
- offshore jobs to Mexico and India
- layoffs/offshoring seen as reduced expenses by stock market
- TRI stock prices go up
- execs/mgmt sell shares & cash out w/ $$$$
- investors sell TRI shares & cash out w/ $$$$
- customers complaining & canceling subscriptions
- execs/mgmt leave TR
- anyone remaining at TR left to clean up the mess
No, now they're playing the "me-too" game. Since everyone else is doing it, we should too!
