Ford Supplemental Employee - Any Benefits ?

I heard a rumor that upper management may be considering bringing those that voluntarily retired at end of Nov 2022 back as Ford supplemental employees. Are there any Ford benefits or advantages included as a supplemental employee vs returning as an agency employee ?

No benefits, but you get the salary when you left Ford.

22 months and counting until retirement unless Ford lets me go sooner.
No more work until midnight 4 nights per week.
I have no intention to work as an engineer ever again anywhere.

Thanks for the info to all that replied ..
Regarding the comment why anyone would want to return, the max salary as a contract employee I could find in the 2 months I was off thru numerous contract houses was $20K less than my salary when left. Very few direct hire jobs as many companies don’t want to pay benefits and want to first see how you perform.

I retired and was asked if I would consider coming back. I said sure, my requirements are $1000 an hour 10 hours a week max. For some reason, that stopped the conversation.

Why would any one come back after retiring or being let go? Blows my mind!

We had two Nov. retirees come back this past week but they had to be agency. We have had previous year retirees return as supplemental. Usually with supplemental you may get a little more salary money since Ford doesn’t have to pay the agency’s % mark-up. As supplemental you do not get any benefits, no vacation, and no holiday pay. You get paid every two weeks. You do get paid for every overtime hour you put in.
