Union leader took full day paid union time during a storm so they didn’t have to come in. The rest of us had to get the f to work or use vacation. What a racket

Possible time-sensitive union business being done? W-2’s and other tax paperwork, filing w/ IRS.
CWA d3 is as corrupt as it gets. a secret agreement between Honepot and the company. no layoffs until 2024 for all titles except ET's. no backfilling of field titles but back filling ET titles which are already overweighted, creating a possible surplus.
if i was a field tech in a rural area, id probably make plans for 2024. the writing is on the wall.
As a union officer who put in over 40 days of overtime at work last year, I have to say name names if you actually have them. Some of us are doing what we can to protect bargained employees

The only people that agree with union are the ones that still have their jobs. The ones sent out the door have union due remorse.

I don’t think you know how mobs work. They don’t care about the contract for the people. So actually having your union getting you nothing lends to it being mobbed up. Maybe leaders are getting paid by company.
Don’t know what union you are saying is mobbed up but it isn’t CWA. Just look at last 4 contracts, more money out of pocket for benefits, anyone hired after 2009 has less benefits. Everyone has had a decline in benefits for many years, pay raises have been anemic compared to inflation.

People, keep in mind that organized labor was started by organized crime, it's always been corrupt and always will continue to be corrupt! I know this for a fact because I'm very well acquainted with the unions over the years! I used to see the mobsters every day walking in and out of the building I worked in! They would orchestrate the union's every move!
Hey officer ya know I’m talking 11th. Everyone was excused for the 23rd. You all were snug in bed. I was told mangers are working from home. Managers were there- you were not. How come the rest of us couldn’t use union time???? Now I am suppose to sign a grievance. SAD

The pt of the union is everyone treated the same. If you have a board taking time the rest can’t paid for by your dues- that is messed up. You should call them out.
