Thread regarding JPMorgan Chase & Co. layoffs

The feeling that they want you to leave

At the moment, I'm not sure if it's just me imagining things because I'm anxious, or if the manager really wants to make me leave this place on my own.
Reading some posts on this forum, I got the impression that there are many more of us who feel the same way.
I'm interested in what exactly makes you think that they want to get rid of you?

I work in HR at JPMC. You are all correct layoffs are coming next week. Be aware that it will be the normal RIF numbers as most years. If you are in Tech and you received a poor performance review or even one “N” then you better have your resume and LinkedIn profile updated. The net numbers in Tech won’t decrease as you will be replaced by perceived high performers from refugees of the mass Tech layoffs gong on now.

You're imagining things. Everyone is stressed over the market. Jamie didn't get paid either. He did that for us. Want you to leave?? Chase hired you to refine and build you up. It hurts at first when you're forced to swim without floaties. We want to make sure you can swim on your own.

Well, jpmorgan directors are the most pathetic of the lot. Pure politics and a-s kissing will make you hold on to your position. If you are in data technology in ccb god help you… lots of wacky fellows there.. heard there was a big one coming next month.

My manager never liked me nor I like him since I don’t like suck up to him so if he has to choose, I am pretty sure I am his first choice. My way to combat this is I would quiet quit while you are looking for another job. You won’t work extra and lost personal time that you will never get back here, yet they can’t fire for you are already doing your job, just not above and beyond. And eventually your boss can’t do anything about it but to lay you off.

Ok now this is getting weird. Be serious or find another page to troll on. People on here are genuinely concerned about being laid off.
