I'm a Field CCS and our VP said on a zoom call last week that our site will be getting CD NY loans since we already work other NY loans. Definitely sounds like there will be cuts on the CD side of HL.

I highly doubt that they are getting rid of all CD HLA's. But I do see where significant cuts would be made. I hope I am wrong.

The job postings would also make sense if the rumor is true that they’re getting rid of all CD HLA’s (the entire CD org chart is what I heard) and keeping only field. They’re ramping up purchase training and there seemed to be a lot of new hire field HLA’s. They’re also training CD HLA’s but maybe just to keep up appearances.

If they’re irrelevant then why are they there! You’re right it is dead so why would they go out of their way to post req with a job post! Haven’t seen any for CCS, UW, Closing etc in a long time!! So.. they are relevant.

JOB POSTINGS = IRRELEVANT. BUSINESS IS DEAD.

I’ve seen several Job postings for Retail-Home Lending Advisors in the Job application center in MyJpmc currently! 🫤

It would make more sense to let go of field HLA's. Keep only the highest producing field HLA's in the largest branches. Everything else goes to the call center. That way they could monitor all the calls, pay LO's less and be more like Quicken....which has been the goal for years.

I heard 60% of sales, seems like an awful lot.

All CD HLA’s?!?! How could that be? Unless they are abandoning the Mortgage business except for established customers like Wells Fargo. That’d be a stupid move and go against everything they’ve been preaching about their business plan the last 5 years. Guess that actually sounds about right for the clowns running this show.

Guess that would mean another big round of layoffs for CCS and UW’s as well.

The rumor where I am is 2/8 and that it involves all CD HLA’s. The source who told me said they heard it from a reliable source, so who knows. 2/8 is a Weds which would make sense as a date since I believe all would be working on site unless they are still work from home and there are very few of those. I imagine if it were involving this many people they’d try to accomplish the layoffs in person.
