To say that midland schools are bad is a gross understatement. Students their will never get into A&M, but the upside is they can be a 4.0 at LSU.
I think you mean Midland LIFE is bad. This is a real ExPat position but XOM refuses to pay as such. You get more uplift and top notch medical and schooling for living in a modern city somewhere in the Eastern hemisphere. If XOM really cared about employees it would pay for private school and cover the insurance premiums while paying for transportation costs to real medical facilities in Ft Worth or Houston.
Pro tip: diamondback should relo to Austin Houston or Dallas. Who tf wants to live midland?
