I have a medical accommodation so they can do what they want.

Sorry the rest of you have to deal with id--tic short term decisions that will affect the long term success of the company for all of us.

Gawd I hope they push this. I truly am remote (they tore up my contract), and they've got me listed in an office on the other side of the state. I'd love to parlay that into a severance package.

Are there plans to change the hybrid arrangements? (every other week in office, or 3 days per week in office depending on your group)

The only way to describe RTO is FUBAR. One size for all will never work and at some point managers need to actually be allowed to manage. Each teams needs are different as well as each employees. Treating them all like middle schoolers will do nothing but weed out the top performers leaving nothing but lazy assssses to warm chairs.

There will be changes, but still LOB dependent.

@1xqc+1kUlyMTU If your work location says Remote then he RTO mandate doesn’t apply to you Sherlock. When will you ishtheels pickup on reading comprehension.

If you have an office designated, and no accommodation, your in as required based on the 3 sets of rules SVB laid out.

If you’re listed as Remote, enjoy the WFH. But you are all first on the chopping block to be right sized. Think that’s a garbage statement? Just go back two years and find out for yourself how they dealt with remotes during the first Location Strategy.

My full-time remote status was signed-off on by SVB himself, so unless this change of direction is coming from SVB or CS, then I will continue to wfh.

Hudson Yards can suck it. Every single person there should be fired, from the mail room guy all the way up to the top.

Unfortunately, I did hear from this from a “reliable source”. I can’t name names, obviously, but it is someone who is involved in planning and who’s info has been correct in the past. No ETA, but sounded imminent. Take it for what it is.

I also heard that they are talking about including our RTO stats or compliance in our reviews and rating.

IMO, our obsolescent management team feels the need to re-exert their control in order to justify their extravagant existence.

The article on TW does not really add anything new for Agile Teams. Still says you only come in for certain meetings, and only if your SM schedules it. Mine doesn’t ever have in person meetings as all of us are in different cities. If they want us to collaborate in person, that’s going to cost alot in travel expenses.

@bnl It might be LOB specific. My landing page has nothing about RTO going back to the beginning of December. Just cause you are seeing doesn't mean all of us are.

Not sure why this is being down voted . There is an article on Teamworks exactly about that that has been out there for almost a week. I’m not saying I agree with it but if you’re going to download something just because you don’t like the message or you don’t believe it and you’re not doing your homework.

Are they going to actually define what a day in the office is? How can you expect people to be compliant without providing the parameters?

Unfortunately, I don't believe it will stop even after the 6,900 departures are "achieved". Based on the history demonstrated by our executive group since Charlie was put in charge, it will probably get even worse. Glad I am retiring SOON.

I believe they want to cut an addition 6,900 employees by mid summer and this would force employees out and try not to pay them severance and unemployment benefits.
