Secret Tracking System - They're Taking Notes About You

I believe this story. It's a troublemaker list or a hit list. I've worked at WF. And I've worked at another company in which the internal audit department was used as a front; for employees to go treport misconduct with the company. The internal audit team then created a list of people that reported misconduct and sent that list to the executives, in which some of the executives themselves were doing misconduct such as embezzlement and se-ual harassment. That hit list was shared to target all the whistle-blowers and have rhem fired or tortured at work.

Never go to the HR, internal audit or whistle-blower ethics hotline. They are there to protect management who are proxies for the company. If you do you will be on a hit list.

I've heard too many stories shared on this board about retaliation/backlash after going to HR, ethics line, etc. Impossible to verify any validity to these claims, but it's just cast such a grim shadow over the whole system that I would never report anything in the future. Very ironic that the systems designed to identify misconduct, bad behavior, and illegal activity are the same means seemingly enabling it.

It's not a secret. Why shouldn't HR keep record of complaints, etc? It's a much worse situation if they didn't.

Yea, I reported an incompetent manager who, when asked what my MBOs actually mean, got all defensive and acted like I was wasting her time. My entire team knew she had it out for me. I was one of the first to be let go (after 19.5 years and consistently good reviews), although I was one of the few highly productive and experienced people on the team. (Seems I asked too many questions.) At the same time, she brought over someone who had worked for her previously who knew nothing about the job, and is known for being demeaning to his peers. That manager left shortly thereafter, as she was finally found out to be ineffective. Yea, steer clear of HR.

I so agree. NEVER go to HR about anything. They are not there to solve anything with misconduct of employees like yelling that someone is a _itch, etc. They tell you to take a pill! No lie. And then the incompetent manager involved goes to his manager and the lies about you start moving upward. And they protect someone that doesn't even do a good job!

HR is there solely to protect management and to squash anything that may appear as if it could hit the news. They do NOT care about employees. Please remember that.

Never report anything to HR it never works out for you. I reported illegal activity where I worked once and the next thing I knew I was fired for failure to perform even though every yearly performance review was positive with no negative incidents. The correct way to do things is gather evidence when someone pulls something at work they shouldn't and then get a lawyer, HR only looks out for the executives.
