IBM, SAP staff in India nervous due to layoffs
There is nervousness among employees in SAP and IBM in India. Both companies have announced layoffs globally. It's not clear how many in India will be affected, but some sources say it could be several hundreds.

Trimming only I'd guess as India was one of 5-6 countries that all the re-location of positions is going to.
AIX, 80% of TSEs, lots more.
And they're gaming it also as these are like relo jobs but with new job reqs in GOM. So the AIX staff in US (I know some) were re-deployed - but the positions didn't go away as with my area (now half staffed)
You can't always replace QUALITY with CHEAP.
