It’s happening for sure just relax and roll with the punches. Half the people will get severance, go on vacation, find another job for more pay and come back to Dell in a year.

alot of that will cause people that don't get cut..to actually leave because of those cuts.
Lots of ways to cut 7% without laying off 7% people. Think pay cuts, bonus cuts, 401k suspension, like what INTC is doing. Also, High cost region can cut fewer people to reach target. So when you put the ole filters on the spreadsheet it will skew to older more tenured folk who have a big fat juicy target on their back and had a leader a few years back who didn’t like them for whatever reason, usually not tied to performance but bruised ego and is now a Director cause they failed up.

Nobody's getting laid-off. Wells Fargo truck will be distributed to each site and we're getting bags of cash for the work we've done. We're the best around.........
