Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

How is your LOB tracking RTO?

Mine is tracking bi-weekly, 3 days a week required, PTOs don’t count as in office, and it’s strictly enforced. Those that showed up on the report as noncompliant must provide justification to their manager and send their in office days to their manager.

Apparently no one including our director has any clue what actually counts as an in office day in my department though (badge swipe or network hours) and tracking accuracy is questionable across locations.

No clue why we’re being required to come sit in an empty office and treated like 2nd graders but here we are.

Bananas are not allowed on the third floor of my building. Apparently someone has a medical condition that is “exacerbated by bananas”. Our site manager asked us back in December to “refrain from eating bananas”.

We are pleased to announce a new system for tracking attendance at Wells Fargo. To ensure that all employees are meeting the requirement of being in the office three days a week, we have installed a cutting-edge "Work from Home" detector. This device uses a combination of facial recognition, voice analysis, and satellite imagery to determine if you are indeed working from the office or from the comfort of your own home.

In order to confirm your presence at the office, our HR department will also be sending out a "Snack Inspection Team" to your desk three times a week. The team will be verifying attendance by checking if you have consumed the designated office snack, such as jelly beans or bananas.

We are confident that this combination of technology and snack inspections will provide an accurate and foolproof way to track employee attendance. Thank you for your cooperation.

Whoops I meant to say holidays and not PTO in my post, PTO counts as an in office day but not holidays on my team.

PTO does count, and that is documented.

You are right that we will be forced to work from home.
It will not be due to a Pandemic though
Rather nuclear war and radiation issues will be the cause

It’s going to fail this year and we will all be sent to work from home (at our expense, AGAIN) once the new pandemic rolls out by the end of this year in time for elections next year. Just hang tight.
