I guess Pat doesn't have the ba--s to do layoffs or Biden told him no layoffs or no CHIPS ACT money. But awesome to be a Coaster, that is G9 and up at Intel. Still get to collect a paycheck for cr---y PowerPoint "foils." Nice job if you can get it.
OP -- 100% agree. Why high performers get pay cut at expense of coasters. Pat is showing is religious mind in capitalism. Now I am sure that he will sink intel to bottom. Coasters and not needed middle management actually slows down project execution. Morale of working employees will be low after pay cut as their pay cut funding someone who is not contributing.
Does everyone still get a piece of fruit every day? Maybe every other day now?
My swag is it looks better in the press to cut TCOMP for all and not whack employees. The CHIPS act and big $$ for Ohio would look terrible.
