Intel will be split soon as the design team can’t afford the boat anchor of TMG RD and CapEx spends even with government subsidies.
x86 volume is smaller than iPhone volume at TSMC and than add AMD, Qualcomm, Nvidia, MediaTek and how many others to TSMC leading edge and what fantasy is Pat and ELT thinking they can compete at scale and cost?
What is Intel a world leader in that breaking it up will allow hidden value to be unlocked?
Are its processor designs better than Apple or AMD? Is it’s semiconductor manufacturing better than TSMC? Breaking up companies is a financial game, it can never substitute core domain excellence.
TMG is worthless
If the company is broken up, it certainly won't be for $100 a share. You may want to look up how smart investors estimate a companies intrinsic value using a discounted cash flow model.
A broben tu-d just becomes several of same. Besides, breabing up is hard to do.
If it is "broben" by you it will fail... dividing it up into tiny pieces that don't already lead their market share would result in a stock price that is just ish, no $100 involved anywhere
