Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

In short, unknown number of employees were laid off,

unknown number of employees got a pay cut, unknown number of shareholders got a nice bump in stock price, unknown number of employees jumped ship, unknown number of employees are secretly very happy that they still have a job. What else there is to know?

Christy and HR spent lots of time in creating CPM acronym aka layoff 2.0
Next round, they'll probably call it DRPM -Dignity Respect People Movement ...

Why does it matter how much many heads they cut. They are gone regardless. What matters is how much money they save. That's the point right lower cost not have a large overhead. Zero folks in actual Manufacturing got let go.....why is that? I think we know why.

When dealing with okrs, results, execution, do remember that truth and transparent is intel value. But headcount cut, pay cut excluded from truth and transparency as intel value….

It is strange that Intel won't admit the HC reduction number. It will be reported at the end of each quarter anyway. All the other tech companies give the actual number.

More 'hide the ball' from Intel management.
