I have received the random 1|1 invite for Monday. Inspire points spent, reimbursements submitted, FSA bonanza to come. I’m over it. Congrats, Uncle Mike ~ ya wore me down. At this point, it’s a relief to not have to wonder. If, in a shocking twist, I’m simply asked to shift to another role … I’m not sure I’ll do it. I’m over it.
Next week is very real. My manager scheduled a meeting bright and early Monday morning. I was recently shuttled under a new manager due to a reorg and we haven't seen eye-to-eye since day one. This is his chance and he's taking it.
I have always been ranked highly in my role at Dell, just bad luck that I was moved under this manager.
Looking forward to moving on, this place is soul-sucking, woke, and mismanaged.

I sincerely hope that it is real for no other reason than to get some relief. Sitting at the edge of my seat waiting for the announcement really wears a man down. BTW, I am using up as much of the PBA days as I can before the axe drops. It's a miserable place to work in my year here, but that's just my personal experience with Dell EMC
If you are internal and have not heard, then just hope your notification does not come via an impromptu 1x1 on the 6th, 7th, or 8th.
