Thread regarding Nike Inc. layoffs

Fraud Analysts Checking Out my LI profile!!??

After being at Nike almost 13 years (with a stellar reputation without even a whisper of anything unethical associated with my name), in the last 2 years, I’ve had my LI profile viewed by Nike Fraud Analysts at least 4x. What is the insinuation? It makes me feel like there is a flag on my name that I am potentially doing something unethical and am being watched. Has anyone else experienced this?? Make it make sense!

Probably have some paranoid schizophrenic tendencies happening here. Portland thing, perhaps.

Yeah they don't do employee investigations, so I'd chill. They do, however, do some really cool stuff on protecting Nike, so they might be a good teammate.

Only 3rd-rate PR flacks on the comms team use “nothing burger”

Recently Nike found that some people using Nike’s benefits for their personal benefit and earned a lot. That might be the reason 😀

Maybe they think your job is cool and are looking into different opportunities. You could have just popped up on their feed because you work for the same company. I work in a role like the one you are describing and can tell you that it's very very rare we look at Linkedin profiles. And even when we do, it's either in private mode or on a fake account. Relax.

I mean, I wouldn’t read much into it unless you’ve done something wrong…? I’d say it would be waste of company time and money if they’re looking into me. I make maybe an order a quarter, same goes for all my family members.

@1bjx

Put the tinfoil down, it’s just a job title. They’re frontline for tracking down fakes, ip theft, & people that abuse employee discounts.

OP. If you’re clean but can’t calm down. Ask around whoever has family access to swoosh. Worst case they’re about to get their account disabled.

What is a “Nike fraud analyst”?

What is a “LI profile”? LinkedIn?

How would you know a “Nike fraud analyst” was looking at your account? If such a person or thing existed it doesn’t seem like the type of thing Nike would want you to know about.

I have questions.

Nothing burger. Personally there are much bigger things I'd be concerned with.
