Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

leadership needs a btter understanding

a top leader said, if you separate because of a pay cut, not believing our strategy or vision. In response, I would like to say a. you do not know families budget and see how already because of high inflation they are struggling b. In the past they have rejected other offers because of believing intel c. they may be in a tough situation (disabled member, high cost curable disease, etc) which every dollar counts.
in conclusion, when you give a pay cut + 401k reduction + no increase, at least do not judge!

You won't see too many DEIs get fired... The co. has been working for decades to increase urm and DEIs... even if it is misguided and creates tribalism and poor results.

Intel is big and slow and knows how to execute a process perfectly... Even if the process is worthless. So, you see now that DEI is here to stay.

How do we know their staying on is a result of their conviction and not of lack of options? I’d love to see any leader some ahead and make a verifiable claim that they passed up a really great offer and stayed on for the vision.

  • If you are require employees to take a pay cut, then you have lost faith in the employees.

Knives cut both ways.
