For those affected, do we have to login to Teams at all?
We were told we can stop working. Email is fine correct?

yeah my mac is not able to access internet either. I think they stopped it.
My internet stopped working on my Mac, as well. On some programs you can change the proxy settings to not use a proxy, and that allows access out. But most of the programs on the Mac must be using a proxy not listed in system-->Network-->Proxies, as there's nothing listed in there to disable.
I think they're supposed to install some DLP software on there that will allow us access, but I haven't been prompted to install it. So now the Mac is useless for email and Teams.
My work mac laptop seems to have no internet access even though my internet is working on my non work desktop. Anyone else have this issue?
Cisco doesn’t use Teams. Do you mean Webex?
You can always open teams and just ignore all the bs. Don’t get trapped in the brainwashing of “we are a family” “please do the needful till your exit”
Your manager or director made the intent to stop your job. Time lead by example and do exactly what your are told.
If you are ready to move on ie accept your package and start your job search, you don't have to do a thing. You can ignore Teams and email if you feel like it....you are "technically" no longer a team member. Your job now is to find a job, period. However, I'd recommend reviewing emails from coworkers/etc.....someone might have a lead. Also, spend some time cleaning your laptop of anything personal/etc. I wiped my laptop on my last day (Cisco has backups of your data if they absolutely need it).
Don't burn your bridges.....do a peaceful exit.
