Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Spinning the failures

It is impossible to have high hopes in a company with an arrogant leadership that never admits its mistakes and doesn't learn from previous failures. It wouldn't surprise me if they actually thought they are doing good things while Intel is sinking. Instead of admitting their mistakes, they sacrifice good employees. How much longer will it go on like this? They've mastered the art of sweeping issues under the rug.

Imagine if ELT spent as much time internally solving problems as they do bloviating externally about how great Intel is going to be. Innovative new products would be created and Intel would return to it's rightful position as top brand, top market cap, top CPU company in the world. Then the alarm on my Apple wrist watch from that 'lifestyle' company woke me up and the dream was over.

You hit the hammer on the nail. ELT is spineless and won’t own up to the situation they put everyone in. If I hear pat say “unforeseen market condition” once more I will scream…

I’ve listened to Pat, Dave and Ann, Intel hasn’t changed or learned anything.

Yeah calling a potential customer's own internal processor that 'little chip' really is the height of arrogance isn't it...

You may be onto something... Either the person who said that actually believes it, in which case all hope is lost. Or, on the other hand the person who said it doesn't believe it, in which case it is hubris and insulting at several levels and all hope is lost.
