This is THE worst kept secret in Verizon... and elsewhere for that matter. Upper management is ticked off that this leaked. Honestly, what do you expect when you "whack and hack" 15% across the board without really knowing what you're doing?

I am feel sorry for those let go because the job market right now is just not great. There is life outside of Verizon, you may have to look for it ... for quite a while.

You're right I saw the initial list last Friday and it was finalized on Monday... Good luck.

Don't blame your manager they have just as much to lose by disobeying plus it's awkward and complicated.

@a8 You aren't required..I directly told my Manager in a 1on 1 long ago, I don't agree with the badgering and its all ploy for ESG social justice scores.....

Director here. I've been told nothing. Not sure if that's good or bad for me & my team, but that's the truth.

If any upper mgmt is pi---d because it was leaked woukd further highlight the lack of leadership traits. Considering 8 years of DEI, over hypying bogus volunteer hours and spending millions on gallup survets that only tracked participation was enough proof.

Time to lead! There has to a few other n the company… I was one to speak up but then again they Rif’d me Q1. But my reputation sokid with my former direct reports

My AD has a mysterious 15 minutes meeting on her calendar at 6 PM on Wednesday.

I believe this is when she finds out which of us gets the ax.
