@b5 they can’t handle the case load now. And if they offload this work overseas, the cases will just get closed.

While it’s not rocket science, the department exists because vendor frontline care/tech cannot complete the work. Whether thats due to red tape from IT/warehouse, or lack of ability, lack of empowerment, or lack of investment in their positions? Probably a combination. The work that case managers do is extremely complex for most issues and above the skill level of the employees who refer the problems to the case team. If Verizon was smart they would retain all performing US based care and tech to do this job and provide live help services to vendors like taking escalations.

Seems like this year they are fast-tracking approvals and renewals, seeking less or no additional clarification from doctors. While I have no confirmation there are actually reductions in CASE, their sudden leniency may indicate they are seeking to catch up on a backlog, or prepare to handle the same caseload with less people.

Fellow Case colleague here. I would think that CASE is not impacted because its Sampaths baby. But then again nothing is for sure at this point. I just wish the leadership was more clear. Its not like they dont know. Hate the suspense. Just tell me already.
