Received and invite for tomorrow then it disappeared. Came from the VP coms person. Am I dead or am I safe?

@ah Good luck with your job search.
Maybe the VP was erased?
Should I stay or should I go?

@OP If am then RIF'd; if pm, prob all good.
@OP what time was invite for?
Last year impacted people and non-impacted people had 15 minute calendar invites. Impacted folks were earlier in the morning and then the Sr Director spent the remainder of the time having 1:1's to tell the survivors what happened and that they weren't impacted. I think it's different each time - and there have been plenty over the years.

Hate to say it but you're toast!
Not to worry though, there's other good places to work out there.
Sometimes the invite is for people not impacted. The impacted people may get a phone call the morning of and have no invite at all. That is unless the entire department is being cut, which could be a calendar invite. I’ve been impacted before and I’ve seen both.
Stop it everyone. It could have been a test meeting for the restructuring announcement for the remaining people. And it sent out by accident. Does not mean it’s a layoff
Definitely a promotion!
@OP your dead
Just know I loved you. Always have
2 weeks per year
@OP I just need you to to one thing for me, tell us tomorrow if it’s two weeks or one week of payout per year?
Historically it’s been two but Dan *allegedly has it cut it to one week per year of service.
Ouch, my condolences
@OP Its a sign
