In Canada, many Tim Hortons and other fast food places are staffed by Indians. Strange coincidence, yes? If not H1B program, then the jobs are outsource to India. I wonder how many North Koreans have tried applying.

@bm

The goal over the last 20 years is to cut expenses through any means.
Layoffs and H1B workers.

Your post is 100% correct, the H1B system is being abuse my many companies.
If they cann't find enough skilled workers then use the H1B system.

But it is being used to replace skilled U.S workers with cheaper imported workers.

However, I feel it's downright criminal that State Street executives are intentionally replacing local US workers with foreign workers. The purpose of the H1B program to help companies get foreign talent that they can't find locally. It's not designed to replace local workers that already have the skills and experience!

You know when they are doing something wrong when they hide all the foreign Indians on one of the floors. This
