ABM the janitorial service provider of over 200 employees and over 9 years is being transitioned out of Nike campus on a decision from CBRE, not Nike. ABM has consistently delivered exceptional experience for Nike athletes on campus, the kpi and consistent inspection scores were off the charts! The teams ABM provided service for: campus janitorial, TWC both janitorial and S&L teams, the gyms: both attendants and pm custodial teams, and durables the (cafe dish return team). Lives have been truly disrupted and thrown into chaos for nothing. Most of the ABM management have decide to leave the account due to this decision and not wanting to be associated with the new company, and the treatment from CBRE, ABM management had over 100 years of campus experience collectively. ABM is a solutions provider that delivers an exceptional experience. Get ready for service to be different , it might look great initially , however when the dust settles challenges will be realized with the experience lost. The stable work force you have come to rely and depend on will be a thing of the past.

I really wish they would clean the offices. There was a the same pile of dust on the carpet under my desk for 3 months.
The new company retained 93% of the existing staff. The goal is to maintain a seamless transition, keeping the same schedules you’re used to, trying to keep staff in their existing buildings. We are sad to see our partners go but unfortunately this is part of being a contract vendor. Those who left also understand this is part of business.
Don't hate the player. Hate the game. Its the right thing to do to send devices out to bid every couple of years and if the incumbent does not present as the top choice its time to make a change. As previously mentioned the boots on the ground workers are nearly always presented opportunities to stay with the new/incoming vendor.
Every front line employee was retained. The janitors were not laid off.
Even the janitors getting laid off. Rough. Employees bring their own toilet bowl scrub sticks.
If every vendor who lost a contract posted on the company site that’s all you would see. Your ride ended and someone else got it. Time to move on as a good business would.
