How many VPs got laid off, as part of the "rebalance"?
There is no shortage of VPs that do not have a clue about what strategy to adopt for the future.
I would be very surprised to hear that even one VP got laid off. It is a species that knows very well how to protect each other.
Oh, I forgot: this is not about cost savings!

Can anyone care to explain why a CTO J.R. needs 17 principle engineers under him? He laid of 4 of them, still has 13 left.
They actually hired more VPs.
Did you know that in the org chart there are stacks of 4 VPs: VP-VP-SVP-EVP, the EVP being V2mama. Another one that needs to go with her stupid V2MOM. She did not even come up with this idea, it comes from Salesforce, and should be for management. Instead she makes even individual contributors waste time filling it.
We had 3 Grade 14 leave the team over here. Same process as everyone else.
Actually quite a few this time, in our very useless central marketing team under DD.

Zero. Point. Zero.

Another reason why Chuckie needs to go ASAP
13 and above is handled very differently, and always has. VP and SVP level is handled basically as "stay on as long as you want" - there have been cases when VPs and above didn't show up for anything for over a year while they were tentatively looking for something else.
