Affecting all of Legg org. Any truth to this?

I have a friend whose wife works in Conyers and they have been working on scripts to automate a lot of their work over the past 2 years. Has only one purpose to reduce headcount!
Look for the town hall recording he did about a month ago. He gave a very detailed breakdown of his staff, including race and made it clear his contractor to employee ratio was to high and was continuing to improve it (in favor of employees). He also mentioned the progress he has made to date in improving that ratio.
He said, there are 40,000 ATS Staff, 12,000 are employees, 28,000 are contractors. Letting go 1,000 contractors. Laying off 500 or so employees on top of retirements in 2022, which they estimate around 400. If we have 28,000 contractors (70% of org) why do we need to lay off ANY employees.

According to webphone, there are 27,984 employees & contractors in his org. 15,823 of them are contractors.

In Jan, they will reach 80% of this goal. The rest will be by end of Q1 or Q2.
Another 800 employees will be cut in Q2.
And he also said they not replacing all retiring workers, for which he also didn't have a count, which aren't layoffs but will still mean more thrown on those who are left.
He said the employee count not being replaced would be about 300 or so, and he gave a ballpark of about 800 fewer employees under his organization after the mid-January layoffs. And then the additional contractors for which he also didn't give a total.
Yep, right form the horses mouth, actual numbers will only be determined after new year based on M75 retirements + contractor dismissals, then figure out what employee headcounts need to be.. I don't think the Jan 2023 will be too bad, I'm more concerned about 1Q2023 , if all the economic forecasting is to be believed that's when we can expect a serious adjustment. Botoom line every quarter in 2023 is likely to be layoff quarter .
He said it himself on the call the other day . So yeah it is true - he said approximately 500 and many many contractors - but he also say they’re after a dollar amount not necessarily head count - so could be more or could be less .

A leg(s) can also be used to support of a chair, table, or other piece of furniture.
in the town hall mtg a week or so back, he said notices in mid Jan, off payroll by end of the month, I don't think he specifically said the 15th.
