I'm sure there will be, also, keep in mind your 401k doesn't fully vest until you're 3 years in. If you're under 3 years you will lose the company contribution to your 401k.
Did everyone who got below expectations get let go or they saving them for first round 2026? Also what about meets some?
At this rate, im hoping BNY crumbles in 2026 and all their sh-t comes to light. If anyone was smart, they wouldn’t come here for work and customers need to go elsewhere. This place thinks their P-M will be sought after by everyone . Its laughable . You have people working that project and making a massive mess cause they dont have a clue about anything and we had to work off dinosaur systems for years. so no chance anything amazing is coming out of this place. Let alone think it will be sought after. Smh

@dk My manager was told to downgrade my corporate principles rating to 'met some' specifically for this reason. This is the 3rd ive had my positive yearly ratings downgraded at the instruction of some higher up who has no idea who i am for some ambiguous 'metrics' excuse. I think this is the year i get caught in the net for it & let go. its all bullsh-t
@j3 as someone from the people team do tell us more about these mass layoff in 2026. Are they going to be sneaky and underhanded through PIPs or as a “restructuring” people reduction announcement where they are required to provide a package? I’m hoping to be one of them so this is of great interest.
Folks in northeast US sites beware, especially those on a bogus pip. All of the pips are bogus and are forced by senior management. It happened to me earlier in this year. They are trying to force out folks from north east sites in US, and outsource to India and Philippines. My position went to a junior resource in India. I got a lot better job after that. RV and his cronies belong in the gutter. They are dou--e bags with no conscience. Hope they get laid off eventually.

Sorry, all of the employees in the met some expectations will likely be shown the door. Wait to see what the restructuring reserves are in the earnings release. That will better tell the story.

It might be a bumper year for larger banks to acquire assets of smaller banks (at a discount) that are on the brink of going under. Keep in mind that 9 trillion of US Debit will also come due, so the Fed will be in overdrive buying bonds from the large banks, If you're a stockholder of BNY, it looks to be a good year. You all know what that means if you're an employee. You are an expendable when it comes to boosting the per-share price. Good tidings to all and to all a BONY good night!
