PIL in 2020 - what does HR disclose?

I found a job pretty easy in 2020. Now I have another job opportunity that requires a thorough background check. Does anyone have any idea what the HR/benefits line discloses to the background check personnel - such as not eligible for rehire or solely employment dates + roles?

If HR provided PIP/PIL information the world would know what they are doing there and it would in the news. Add to that - just because one company says you need improvement, to meet their own headcount goals, makes it untruthful anyway.

Oh bless your heart… they’re just checking dates of employment. You’re good, smooth sailing ahead.

Agree with above. I’m not sure they are actually allowed to say much else.

Dates worked for company and job title.

You’ll be fine.

Seems very unlikely they will mention that PIL info. Clearly, they would provide dates of employment and maybe job title. You will be fine.
