Anyone else notice management acting like cult leaders telling you they "love you" and that "we're all a family"? I've heard multiple managers say this to reps. What gives? Are they being told from higher ups to tell us peons they love us so we don't leave or get upset about our STI or payraises?
If you "loved us" you would give us a cost of living increase and not take away benefits. If we're "all a family" you wouldn't lay us off, outsource us or sell us to indirect. Sure, it sounds warm and fuzzy but lets not get it twisted. We are all replaceable in Verizon's eye. The moment we aren't needed they won't hesitate to let us go. You can't pay bills with fake love.
