Ruckus will go to the highest bidder.

The acquisition would make sense.. with Aruba and Juniper combining, Extreme and Ruckus is probably up next.

Ruckus products are sub-par…

If the deal goes through, Extreme Networks becomes a much more formidable competitor in the Wi-Fi 7 and enterprise space. However, it is a "bet-the-company" move. If they can't integrate Ruckus quickly and convert those customers to their AI subscription model, the debt load could indeed become a lead weight on their stock for years to come.

Ah! That’s what Arris thought too… and so did CommScope.

$10 billion in debt later, Ruckus wasn’t worth the effort. Unrecoverable disaster and epic lost of talent….

What makes you think Ruckus is still worth it, today ?

Come on Arista, there must be some value in Ruckus WiFi that you can leverage! Extreme is a joke of a company with a bruised brand and a track record of delivering underwhelming technology. I bet “EBITDA” is a buzzword amongst their executive offices as well….
