I understand those who constantly question whether they would be safe. People are anxious and fear losing their jobs.
However, hasn't it already become obvious that layoffs can be expected here every quarter and that no one is safe?
Instead of constantly being tense and in fear of cuts, it is better to constantly be on a lookout for other options.
