My neighbor came by yesterday to exchange Christmas presents. She told her a good friend of hers husband was let go from AT&T last week. He was told by his manager there was no work due to no growth in the area.
This is sad as an investor.

That might be why all of a sudden ATT is running fiber in my neighborhood (in Alpharetta) after pretty much ignoring it for years, ceding it to Comcast. I get 1gig (almost) down, 40 up vs 24 up 6 down for ATT for 55 (plus 17 for a mobile I dont really use) and the att is 55 for that snail pace. I have ATT as backup since both my wife and I work from home.
Layoffs in December?
He obviously was not in SSIM. No work no problems.
No what is sad is that there are still those that buy T stock.
