Dell used to have quarterly spifs.
Both LEMC and LDell.
They didn't make a huge difference to earnings but they were fun and something to focus on.
Aren't there short term bonuses available any more to push a new or hot product?

Still see quite a few spiffs mainly in CSG. Regularly intel and AMD funded. Even gave away Rolexes this year.
My boss put up extra cash and turned it into a contest - $40 for the whole team.
20 years of loyalty and I got a $25 dollar Starbucks gift card
Wtf is a spif? Been here 10 years and never heard of it. No one on my team knows either...
Fun fact if inspire awards are too much they are freezing them, every dollar counts!
Always needed JC approval - and he never approved anything. Several ethics cases raised and unhappy people suing with local spif under the radar running paid by partners. Also crazy leaders were always bending the rules to get more money for themselves. Round Rock employee here but always heard EU was the main problem as constantly had issues with spif
@a3 It's been years since we had any new product releases that put us in a competitive position.
It’s been years since we had any real spifs
That would mean spending more money on Sales teams which Dell currently isn’t in the business of doing.
What new or hot product?
