Do NOT spend a single dollar at the office. I haven’t all year long with the exception of maybe 4-5 coffees this year. I bring my own lunch and coffee everyday. They finna suffer with or without my physical presence, and this tax bs reason will not win.

If policy is being created because of the handful of people "Caught" sleeping at their desks, then that is just more proof of poor leadership. I believe its more plausible that city officials wanting more tax revenue from people returning to the office and all that comes with it is the cause of us being forced to return.

I know guy that would nap at his desk each day. Head straight back in chair snoring too. Or people go in their car to do it. It is fine everywhere to be sure.

If you could do the same, why wouldn't you? There's always talk about "your location is in use" and employee monitoring, etc. Similar to RTO reporting, I'm sure that type of employee data is only available on a limited, by-request basis so 99% of it never sees the light of day. Don't blame your poor management for allowing employees to take advantage of an environment where they can get away with this.

I was super productive WFH. Now I nap in office to make up for lost sleep and stressful commute.

Well duh. Of course people are sleeping during the workday. And running errands and doing childcare and working side gigs. Everyone knows who they are.

@wnz+1kj0WF6C While this is true the reason why these people exist is because managers don’t manage. No real goals/objectives, no consistent measurements of goals/objectives, no care when some people have low quality or output compared to peers. The sleeping is just a symptom, incompetent management is the disease.
