No one's even pretending to steer anymore. Just managed decline, slow and steady. Layoffs forever, now reaching offshore too. There's hardly any core left, both among employees and leadership, that could pull off a turnaround, if that was ever the plan. Am I off base here?

There is no turnaround. It will be labelled as a "pivot" as an AI win, new product tech management and their workers clan will move to another company. They are anyway people with multiple ex-this, ex-that. Sad to see this end of a 100 year old company. Will be sold and disintegrated. It's weird how nobody from ceo or PE saw this, or maybe that is what they want.
