Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

AT&T Ranked Among Top Companies for Corporate Sustainability Leadership

What’s the news? AT&T* has been recognized by top ESG ratings CDP and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for leadership in corporate sustainability. The company uses these external rankings as a tool to assess, benchmark and disclose performance on critical environmental, social and governance issues.

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE, is this some kind of bad joke?

They have sustainable when it comes to employe layoffs and benefit reductions . I give them an A+ in those departments.

Couldn't care less about all the ESG nonsense. When the company is finally on the ropes, they will stop with all the woke bu11sh1t too. Then you'll see how much they really care about this garbage.

I do not recycle either. It all goes in the same truck. Not divided.

T, TMUS, VZW are all at least 4% owned by Blackrock. They're REQUIRED to have high ESG ratings, or else they lose Blackrock as a primary investor/lender.

One thing is for sure, T doesn’t give two sh*ts about the environment. I tried to get some recycling bins for the office and all they complained about the cost. They only recycle things that make them money (copper, cardboard, phones). Anything else just throw it in a dumpster even if it’s 100 percent recyclable.
