Reading my emails after a few days off and see we're supposed to support each other while our colleagues get laid off then an hour later a message asking us to donate to the Elevance PAC.
What phenomenal leadership.

@pk
You can’t block them but you can have fun…
Report them as suspicious. 😂
@cq correct. Not to mention, lobbying for legislation that sc--ws over consumers (also us). They contribute to campaigns in exchange for promises to keep $$ flowing, legislation to make health care less accessible/more expensive for everyone. PACs are self serving. Would never contribute a penny and I want to block those emails.
Culture Commons - good times! Put those Power Point skills to the forefront and shine! Then if you are lucky you have to send it to your boss to prove you did it with your team or even luckier they have to get the invite to your staff meeting where you can ask them in front of all your team "what are your thoughts on xyz and how to do you incorporate this into both your professional and personal growth. Loved it!!! LOL
I already donated in my 1.5 to 2 percent merit increases during 8 percent inflation. Take something out of that money for PAC. Oh, that's right. The Execs used that money to fund their multi-million dollar bonuses. PAC this!!!
this place sxus!
@dx I did notice that RVP do seem to donate. But I didn’t realize there was a list Elevance was maintaining in regards to this. So I guess it isn’t voluntary for higher ups if they have to worry that not donating could be a factor in someone getting riffed. What a crock of sh-t.
@dx I worked there for 19 yrs. Never gave them a dime.
Just give enough so that you show up on the list as opposed to giving the “recommended” levels. .This avoids one target on your back. Even though I was a RVP, I think I gave $25 annually and had no problems.
@cq They can f*** off with the PAC requests. It's absurd that they ask employees to donate their money back to the company.
@cq someone woke up grumpy this morning.
I will never ever give you PAC. I feel they use the funds to lobby for things that won’t help the actual worker at Elevance. They will lobby for ways to reduce oversight and headcount. Corporations aren’t people and that damn legislation should never had been passed.
