This post is nothing new in regards to WF monitoring employees keyboard/mouse/Teams activity. We have been aware of that since last year. Not sure if all computers at WF are running Skan. If yours has it in the system tray be careful. They are using metrics from Skan to displace people without severance. I know this for a fact so just be sure you aren’t one that takes long breaks or inactive for long periods over days or weeks. Not meant to scare anyone just beware of it.

Lots of theoretical talk and assumptions. So how does it filter out inactivity during off hours vs on hours? Assume people are in different time zones. What is the reporting threshold. How does it know I’m on a call doing nothing vs eating lunch, vs just not working.
Are we starting to see how challenging it becomes to do this with 200K people based on some theoretical use case the tool isn’t designed for?
Apply the same logic for keystrokes or other activity? What’s the threshold per person, tittle application. They can barely count hours in office properly at scale.
Thinking about this at the individual user level is very flimsy logic.
Using technology that is purpose built for this is a different story altogether.
Does this Skan show you as inactive if you are listening on a Teams call for an hour? So no keyboard strokes or mouse clicks for that time. My day is constant Teams calls, but for some of them I am not typing or clicking but I’m listening. Would I show as inactive or active during those calls?
It's real and rolling out
@a6 That could be its primary purpose, but who is to say they won't use it as a justification to fire you if they see you inactive for hours at a time? Seems plausible to me given the toxicity.
Why don’t you do some research on Skan VA -and tell us what it’s really for? Hint- not employee monitoring
What is SkanAI ... and how is it being used at Wells Fargo? How long has the bank been loading SkanAI on laptops? It seems like some teams have SkanAI ... and other don't.
SkanAI is real. But is really looking for automation opportunities. I
I know for a fact that this board has a daily troll who tries to rage bait others who come here.
