How was severance pkg? Standard two wks or more generous? Did you get more for being older worker?

Congratulations for your new job. I was in HDD development (HAMR RWI), and laid off in Jan this year. was curious to know anybody got the job, I am having trouble finding a job. Interviewed (screening) at seagate and toshiba, interview was fine and very relevant to my experience but they did not pursue further. wondering if stigma of being laid off is playing some role here.
Is that in Orange County?
Depends on where you are....Irvine? Chandler? And what you were doing. Check at Sandisk since they spun off, they could be hiring.
Took me all of 2 months to find my new job. I work in the defense sector now.
