How about your management and leadership.
Way too many around me.

24/7. We sleep in the executive offices. The commune is tight knit, but we have not chosen a cult leader yet.
@k2 because people like that want the rules applied uniformly with no gray area. That's the only way they believe it's "fair". Especially when people have immediate management in their hubs that are sticklers for a traditional work schedule. Those people hate everyone else who do have managers that give them grace for being people because to them it's just not fair.
We're headed into a "misery loves company" era, and the Karen 3 rows over is going to report anyone they think gets too much freedom even when it's not their godda-n business.
Here’s an honest question, why do you care about what other people are doing? Is it insecurity, lack of self confidence, miserable with your own life? Have never understood why so many people worry about others when they should just worry about themselves.
@e4 you forgot to put /s at the end lol
None. Everyone around me works for 10 hours without a break while maximizing shareholder value
@OP You’re going to get karmic retribution one day for watching people instead of minding your own business. Do some work and worry about your damn self.
Watch your own bobber.
What happened to the true definition of Exempt? Sometimes you have days you stay late and maybe a day you need to jet out early. On a day like that for exempt employees - 6 hours is a full day. Time to only worry about ourselves and not the others around us. Out of our control.
8 to 4, i stay exactly 8 h, not a second more. Don’t care what I am doing . Shut down as soon as 8 hours in
Assuming this is someone from HR,
Please, where can I find the RTO exemption for POC?? I was told this is an examption I can get but I cannot find it anywhere on the HR site. RTO is harmful for us POC and this is taking too long you are committing violence towards POC by delaying you must know!
What other people do and how long they spend in the office has literally no impact on my ability to do my job. I also never assume anyone else's personal circumstances.
Nice try though troll. If you have the time to watch what time other people leave the office it sounds like you need more work to do.
Nice try secret HR person. Not getting me to admit anything.
The fact that some of you are open about this stuff? You're not too bright.
Oh. My. God. Some people may be working short hours, and "cheating" US Bank, after they've done so much for us? The horror! 😱
Good on them and shame on you for simping for this shithole. Be better.
I've learned, as someone who is required to often work nights & on weekends without any kind of additional pay or consideration by the company, or to answer incidents at any time day or night within max 15min even if I'm in the dead of sleep or doing something as normal & mundane as trying to buy groceries in my off hours, to mind my own fckng business.
So if I leave a little early maybe it's because I was up half the night making sure by the morning, all of YOUR sh-t works.
I urge OP to consider doing the same & exercising their right to stfu.
Bootlicker
Love this and your exactly right.
If you have enough time and energy to keep tab with who packs up early, you have too much time. Either work some more or do something else more meaningful, such as help clean up the working area/office space, fill up the coffee stations, make sure the printers work, or just mind your business.
Just stopped going in. Oh, that employee 20% financial planning discount for putting you in high fee investments. Ha. Nice try. Actually better word is offensive.
I am have several million liquid. Didn’t get that way paying huge AUM fees. Easily can retire
Will let you know how long it takes for the network packet police to catch me.
Lots others like me.
I don't stay long enough to see anyone pack up early.
Maybe that person you’re hot and bothered about leaves early to care for her mom in hospice and then works extra at night in hopes of not being laid off and losing health insurance.
It’s called minding your own business.
Who cares? People should get their work done and organize their work and life in a way that makes sense to them. The company can punish or enforce rules as they choose, but people should go about their business until then.
I leave after my 8 hours. I’m one of the first in the office. Lots of others arrive around 9-10am. How many or those people are staying until 5-6pm?
