Why are there MDs arm-twisting their staffs to complete the code of conduct that we have a month to complete? Same with the feedback theater. Is this what scores points now - harassing staff to get meaningless things done ahead of the deadline?

@ds, hence not a place to grow your career. Coaching and guiding juniors to eventually move up isn’t something this organization looks a seriously at the moment.
Is this serious? Because its mandatory for one and for two they are looking for any reason to terminate or falsify ratings so many of us mgrs are making sure you dont hit their past due list since many of you struggle to pay attention to deadlines
Maybe the MD is planning a long vacation soon, and she wants make sure no team member gets 'non-compliant' - I recall they were obsessive on compliance because their bonuses were cut in case of non-compliance.
MDs are now doing this? Thank god I left that dumpster fire.
Everybody's being judged on their metrics, and for managers, how their staff responds to these things is metrics.
