They have been completely useless for years now. Try to remember the last time we learned something useful from a town hall. I can't and I doubt anybody else can. Just ignore them. They're nothing but a waste of time.

DA talking about PLS made it pretty clear it is not going well from a customer perspective. Shouldn't we stop wasting money instead of doubling down?
@cp That screensaver genuinely hurts my eyes (its not a great design) and makes it hard for me to read things, especially as someone with dyslexia, it's really not accessible. Felt a little bit invasive them changing it.
Also, who has a Townhall of 45 minutes of the same person going on and on. I have no idea what Omar was telling us - too fast talking and too boring. 15 minutes for about 3 questions, and the main voted question about the job titles was completely ignored! All about customers, nothing to do with their actual staff!!

Yes on starting up our laptops, the nice, relaxing daily screen background of beautiful photography from around the world is now a purple mess of text that causes stress and anxiety to start off the day ...
I never used to watch them or was ever instructed to watch them. I watched my first back in February because our department was going through a reorg and I was curious what was being said. I didn't bother with the one Monday. Tom Ap sent out an email in advance of our PVS town hall saying we need to watch the recording prior to our town hall. Within an hour, my manager sent a condescending email saying no Town Halls are optional and we need to prioritize going. The fact that they're pushing out desktop backgrounds/screensavers is wild to me.
I find them invaluable.
No, not for any of the content. But instead, for the opportunity to have a paid, long-form break where I can do as I please.
