The Warwick School Committee approved staff layoffs on Tuesday. This included 18 teachers, three administrators, and 21 teaching assistants. The committee vote was 3 to 2 in favor. Parents and school staff criticized these reductions. The Committee had previously approved a $203.8 million budget for FY27.
